The items you got from the Mursaat is available 2 years in the past? The prices of the traders have an influence on the market 2 years in the past? It's like a time-hole has been opened.

Why the hell did they make it possible to go back to noob Island and have storage there? Plus Factions players Lvl up to fast and dont really learn much where as in pre searing its a nice easy PEACEFUL place to learn.
Gotta Love Gwen, hope they bring her back. I feel like i gave her all them flowers, mended her flute and bought her a cape for nothing. She owes me! Stalking little.... *cough*... Yeah bad idea dude

With that info, especially the bold bits, /notsigned. This is one of the crappiest ideas in a long time.

/not sighed...
faction doesn't really have a pre-sear,,, technically, u can go to presear any time you like, which sorta defeats the purpose...

Having a pre toon myself I'd have to say
/not-signed
I wouldn't, however, object if a bag collector was to be added in pre..having only a pouch is kinda limited imo
Bag collector-->storage problems solved :P (even if there aren't any holding runes in pre)
Any kind of storage or access to the GH would, even though perfectly possible to implement, totally ruin the plotline.
Same goes for a dye trader..I wouldn't mind having a dye trader in pre for helping newbs learn the values of dyes but...it would ruin the plotline.
Ruining the plotline == a nono

Storage in pre-searing? Please no. I like the idea of having at least some place in the game which isn't full of spam and the elitistic attitude of 'I have perfect goldens, I'm better than you' - and the beginning, which all the newcomers experience first is the best place for this. And, as stated above, the plot would suffer from this.

Giving deposit-only storage in Pre-Searing is acceptable in my opinion. You would have access to the same storage vault, but any items inside that have not been deposited by you would be greyed out, and you could not withdraw money. That way, you could not bring any items into Pre-Searing, but if you're a dye farmer or something at least you could send your stuff through quickly, without having to go past the Searing and then remake your character after transferring the items.
As for the time leap of two years of the items you put into the vault - that doesn't go against the storyline. Just imagine that your character (e.g. dye farmer) never made it to the Academy before that dreadful day, but the items he saved were preserved for his friends.
/notsigned @ a regular storage in pre-searing.
/signed @ deposit-only storage in pre-searing.
